She delights in playing with other dogs and is always up for some loving. T-Bar Name:  Polly T-Bar Number: D267 Weight: 15 lbs

Breed: Labrador / Terrier
Color:  Black  with white chest        CRATE-TRAINED
Adoption Fee: $95
Description: Polly and Molly were abandoned together; and have grown up together in their foster home. They would LOVE to be adopted together. They are so good with Peyton (foster mom's daughter) and the other animals.  Their tails are always wagging and they don't lick or jump anymore.  They sit when you come out and just wait to be loved.  They live in the garage with cats.  They are so playful.  Molly really isn't shy at all anymore.  Both crate trained and the times they have been in the house have been without potty issues.  We don't even shut the doors on the crates anymore.  They have separate ones and they go home every night.  If they get scared or don't feel good, they get in the crate together.  It's really cute.  Once you meet them, you just know. Polly and Molly would love to be in their forever home for Christmas. They've had their shots and have been spayed. Won't you consider one or both of these girls to add to your family?  See these 2 girls playing  See puppy pic

T-Bar Name: SHADOW T-Bar Number: D254 Weight: 30 lbs
Sex: Neutered Boy Age on 3/2010:  Adult
Breed:  American Staffordshire Terrier Mix
Color:  Black with white stripe on chest
Adoption Fee: $95
Shadow has not shown any aggression to any people or other animals. When he sees other animals he just wags his tail. It is everyone's best guess that Shadow was someone's pet that was stolen and used as bait to teach fighting pits to be aggressive. He liked coming in the house and other than lifting his leg he has been happy to be here and see all the other dogs.

Just look at his sweet expression, not a mean bone in his sweet little body. He is little too, can't be more than 30 pounds at the most.

Around TBAR, we call Shadow, Tonka, as in Tonka truck. He's solidly built and loves construction work. Meaning he loves to dig, not to get anywhere, just to dig. He might make a good search and rescue dog. Or maybe an Armadillo tracker :)

T-Bar Name:  Iggy T-Bar Number: D353 Weight: 40 lbs
Sex: Neutered Boy  Age on 1/2010 1 year
Breed:  Retriever / Cur
Color:  Black with white chest Adoption Fee: $95
DescriptionIggy is seen here shopping for dog chow with his foster family. But Iggy is also shopping for a forever home where he can receive lots of individual love and attention. At 9 months old, Iggy (and his three littermates) is a perfect age for adoption. He is a handsome retriever/cur mix who weighs about 40 lbs and is almost fully grown. His sleek black coat is accented with a striking white chest. Iggy has a sweet disposition and is already crate trained and walks well on a leash. He loves to play and loves to chase butterflies and dragonflies. He is neutered, current on his shots, and will make a great family addition. October is “Adopt a Shelter Dog” month, so come see Iggy or one of the other True Blue Animal Rescue dogs.
T-Bar Name:  Lucy T-Bar Number: 255 Weight: 75 lbs
Sex: Spayed Girl  Age on 2/2010: 6 years
Breed:  Staffie
Color:  Light Tan Brindle with white highlights
Adoption Fee: $95
DescriptionLucy looks like a happy-go-lucky girl, so it's hard to imagine what circumstances brought her to the Milam County Shelter. Maybe she had a good life, maybe she didn't. Lucy was rescued from the Milam Shelter by a caring TBAR foster parent, so she could find a loving, forever home. This 2.5 yr old, brindle Staffie likes to be pet, walked, go for rides in the car and she tolerates a bath. She is housetrained and responds to the No command. Lucy likes children  and doesn't bark much. Lucy thinks she has good taste and is selective about which dogs can hang out with her. She is a bit cautious in new surroundings until she settles in; and then her playful personality shows. Even though she's short in stature, she's quite the athlete and needs a tall fence to keep her from showing off her abilities. Lucy is spayed, current on her vaccinations and ready for her forever home.
