We received a call from a good Samaritan that
there was a dog lying in the ditch for the last 3 days. She was not
able to take the dog to her house and it was a holiday weekend but brought
food and water daily and to check on her. When we arrived we found
Belle on the side of the road with a very swollen back right leg.
Immediately we took her to Brenham Vet Hospital for an evaluation with Dr.
Panko. She has a broken femur close to her knee cap and it has been
shattered - once the swelling goes down we will have to cast her leg and
she will be in a foster home in a crate for 4-6 weeks for her
recovery. Good news is that she is heartworm negative and has
been given her vaccinations and rabies shot This vet bill is estimate
to run $1500.00 so we are asking for your help with donations so we can
get Belle up and running again. If you or anyone you know is able to
contribute to Belle's fund you can visit our website at www.t-bar.org
to find our mailing address, make a donation through Paypal or become her
monthly sponsor.
Belle says thank you!!!!
