Description:
Horses like Shawnee don’t come along every
day. She is a rare and beautiful roan snow-flake Appaloosa with four white
stockings. Shawnee was taken from her owner due to abuse and neglect and was
very skinny. After plenty of TLC at True Blue Animal Rescue (TBAR), she is
now healthy and ready for her forever home. This sweet 4 yr. old mare is a
bit shy but with a little coaxing you can halter her. Shawnee is a perfect
age for training and has tremendous potential. Standing at about 14 hands,
she would be ideal for a small adult or child’s riding horse. For more

Description: Lilly is a tattooed
Arabian who has raced and won one of the races. She needs an experienced
rider but will make someone a great riding horse with a little time.
Lilly is quite spicy. No bucking or rearing, but lots of energy.
She is very smart and I think very trainable, but needs an experienced
rider/horse owner to start. She has lots of personality. She has
a higher headset, but a lot of get up and go. I think she is sweet,
but has a true "Arab" nature. See

Description: Bella’s history is one which has become all
too common. Bella was rescued by True Blue Animal Rescue (TBAR) along with
many other horses who were starving and neglected. This lovely 25 yr. old
dark bay mare has made a remarkable recovery thanks to the tender care and
good food she has received at her foster home. Now Bella needs her own
special forever home to complete a happy ending for her. She is very tame
and well-trained and has potential as a good kids’ horse or just a
friendly companion.

DreamCatcher's before picture
- From DreamCatcher's foster home: DreamCatcher
has put on ALOT of weight, his top line has filled out nicely. He's got
a "hay belly" and no chest or butt yet, but nothing a
little more exercise can't cure. He leads well, is good for the
farrier, is doing well lounging in the round pen, enjoys a bath, and
loves attention. We haven't tied him yet, we realized today, but we will
try it out. He is still a little wary around strangers at first, but
warms up quickly. We plan to pony him a little this weekend, see how he
does with a group, in a new setting and how his feet hold up. They
appear to be good and hard, but his heels were short and are growing out
now.

Moose is a BIG loveable gelding ! He is gentle, but can be kind of pushy because he is so big. He took care of 37 mares after a seizure and when the lady that was feeding them would go out, Moose would put himself between the hungry mares and the lady and guide her safely through them so she could feed. He is truly an amazing animal and with some patience and a strong, gentle hand he will make a good partner for a lucky someone.
