Mia was found by Brenham Humane Services with a collar grown into her neck. They saved her and gave her time to heal. A True Blue Animal Rescue foster home heard about her and decided to give her a home to live in while she waited for her forever home. That day has finally come! Mia seemed to know these were her people because she walked right over and leaned on her new Dad’s leg. Here you can see that she’s content and comfortable with her family already. This weeks success story is a foster failure. Stephanie found the litter of dogs on her property and became their foster home. As they found homes Stephanie decided that Coco and Danny fit in to the family and should just stay. Hooray for Coco and Danny and their new home! True Blue Animal Rescue brought adoptable dogs to Brenham’s Hot Nights Cool Tunes community event in July. That was where Judge met his new family. They met him there and fell in love. Adoption Update: Grayheart Horse
Grayheart was part of the Wood county seizure we did several years ago. She came to TBAR as a skinny little filly. She was dark gray with a white heart on her forehead. Today her color has changed to a beautiful gray and the heart is barely visible. But, isn’t she beautiful? I just love when our adopters keep in touch! Thank you Amanda Bolander!
Success Story: Tyson dog
Tyson was neglected, with hair loss and he was under weight. He soon gained weight and learned to trust his world but it took him a while to find his perfect forever family because he had floppy back legs that would go out from under him sometimes. X-rays showed that he was not in pain. It was just how he was born. Thankfully Marie adopted him despite his condition and now he has a family of his own! Lucky Tyson and Lucky Marie!
