Description: Rudy lost his home when his owner fell ill and could no longer take care of him. This tiny dog is about one year old, and is an adorable Chihuahua/rat terrier mix. A white coat with tan head & ears, and a white stripe down the middle of his face, gives him a most appealing look. Rudy is very sweet and loving, and is housebroken and crated trained. He would do very well as an only dog or with another small dog like him. (Big dogs make him nervous.) He’s shy when he first meets you but warms up quickly and delights is lots of lap-time and pets. Description: This precious little puppy was abandoned on a road (illegal in this state) and left to his fate. In this case, Marshmellow and Captain were found and rescued by a member of True Blue Animal Rescue (TBAR) who has fostered and cared for them until they were ready for adoption. Orange-eared Marshmellow is about 10 weeks old and is very playful and friendly. He is neutered, vaccinated, healthy and ready to go home with his very own forever family.

Description: Barney was found running along a country highway. He’s very friendly, gets along with other dogs, is housebroken and crate trained and walks on a leash. Cat approved. House broken. Loving. Needs a yard for play, but wants to sleep in your bed and lie in your lap. Leash trained and will sit on command. Great with my two dogs….absolutely no sign of aggression. He seems full Mini Schnauzer to me: no dew claws, beautiful markings, about 20 pounds.

Demi – 9 month calico girl
ADOPTED – Thank You!

Demi To outsiders, Demi’s life in foster care probably seems like an idyllic fairy tale. But Demi feels more like Cinderella. Even though she lives in a nice home/castle and her basic needs are cared for, Demi has evil step-sisters and brothers (cats) that are mean to her. They don’t accept her, so poor Demi has to stay in her room except for when the step-siblings leave the house for a while. Demi longs for her own home where she can live freely to love and be loved. She promises to follow you everywhere, take naps in your lap, sleep on your bed, and purr really loud to let you know she’s happy. Demi knows she’s special because she was born with a perfect orange heart on her right shoulder. She is a petite 9-month-old calico; white with big patches of orange & black on her head, tail and left side. Cole – ADOPTED – Thank You!

Two year old black boy with white spot on his chest and on his belly. Cole is a sweetheart even though he’s been an outside cat his whole life. He loves to be pet and scratched and even comes when called. He’s neutered, FIV/FeLeuk negative, had his shots and is ready for his forever home.

Max is the smallest of the 3 boys; and likes to be held like a baby if you scratch him on his chest. His coloring is a cross between Seal and Lilac Point. He purrs very loudly when given love. All of them impress the vets and their helpers with their personalities.

Description: As the saying goes, “a picture is worth a thousand words”. Can you see the longing for a wonderful forever home is this adorable puppy’s face? Dodger and his brother & sister got off to a precarious start. Mama was killed by a snake and a fourth puppy was killed by a car. When True Blue Animal Rescue (TBAR) was contacted the three surviving puppies were saved. These irresistible pups are a mixed breed. Dodger probably weighs 20 pounds, is 14 weeks old and will be 35 pounds when full grown. He’s also crate trained and housebroken and he sits on command. They are sweet and playful but not overly rambunctious. All shots and neutering included with adoption.

Description: Bucky had a difficult start to his life but that has just added to his character and charm. He came to True Blue Animal Rescue (TBAR) after being dumped in the country and found hiding out under a fallen cattle panel. A nicked ear and a couple of other small scars are testament to his past abandonment. Now Bucky walks on a leash, is crate trained, and could easily be completely housebroken. Buck is a sweet, black Labrador / Shepherd mix which puts him in the ‘Bermuda Triangle’ of animal rescue. That’s the place where black dogs go, and they have a hard time finding their way out to a forever home. No one knows why this phenomena exists; it just does. And poor Bucky has been stuck without a family through no fault of his own. He’s friendly, loving and playful. At 1.5 years old, he’s past the puppy stage of teething and jumping all over you, and would make a great companion for you and other dogs. Buck is very intelligent and willing to learn, so if you want to teach him tricks, he’s ready! All he needs now is for someone to see him for his wonderful Self and adopt him. Description: If Dakota has a look of puzzled hurt on his face, it is well justified. He’s probably wondering why in the world someone would starve him, ignore him, and then push him out of their truck on a lonely country road. (A crime by the way.) Happily for Dakota, someone saw what happened, picked him up, and brought him to True Blue Animal Rescue (TBAR). Since this photo was taken, this adorable 4-month-old boxer mix puppy has already begun to put on weight and is crate trained. Dakota is friendly to people and to other dogs. He’s such a sweet dog too! He stays in his crate or kennel and quietly waits for someone to come get him and take him out or feed him. It’s like he’s saying, can I really stay here? It’s so nice here, do I get to stay? He can’t believe he gets to eat several times a day! Please consider giving Dakota the loving forever home he so deserves.

Darling is much too friendly to have been a lifelong stray; and because of this, she trusted the wrong people. Darling was found at a gas station. She was skinny, had an abscess and infection around her head and neck and she has a scar along the top of her back that is typically seen on dogs when someone squirts lighter fluid on an animal and lights it. Darling had nearly given up hope and was sitting to the side looking sad and forlorn when Melanie called her over. She decided to try and find help one more time and slowly walked over. After a trip to the vet to clean her wounds and get her started on antibiotics Darling started to come out of her shell. With plenty of good food Darling quickly put on weight and became the energetic, happy, lab mix that she had been before. Ryanne, a 10 week old female Rat Terrier/Beagle mix is a pretty cream color with tan tips on her ears.
