T-Bar Name: Clyde |
T-Bar Number: D282 |
Weight: 86 lbs |
Sex: Neutered Boy |
Age on 12/2007: 4-5 years |
Breed: Labrador Retriever CRATE-TRAINED/HOUSEBROKEN |
Color: Yellow |
ADOPTED – Thank You! |
Location: College Station, Texas |
Description: Hank and Clyde were found running loose. After no one stepped up to claim these dogs, it was clear they were dumped. They were in good shape and their fur showed evidence of wearing collars. Hank and Clyde did very poorly at the shelter, and became depressed. Not surprising since they were obviously someone’s pets. A foster home stepped forward, so TBAR was able to rescue them from the shelter. Clyde lost significant weight while at the shelter; and is already eating better in his loving foster home. This picture was taken when Hank and Clyde were first pulled off the streets. Both dogs are friendly and affectionate towards people, dogs, cats and kids. They have both been micro-chipped. Also, they are both excellent on a leash. There is no problem at all walking both of them at the same time. |

T-Bar Name: Maverick |
T-Bar Number: D201 |
Weight: 55 lbs |
Sex: Neutered Male |
Age on 12/2006: 2 years |
Breed: Shepherd – on the small side |
Color: Black with white highlights |
ADOPTED – Thank You! |
Location: Brenham, Texas |
Description: Maverick was lost, desperately searching for the family he loved so dearly. It all happened so quickly. One minute he was enjoying a truck ride with his family, and the next minute he’s standing bewildered at the side of the road as they speed off without him. “They must not realize I’m not with them”, he must have thought. He waited patiently for them to return, but they didn’t. So he went looking. And that’s how Maverick was found – without his family, but wanting one so badly. Maverick is a beautiful, black Shepherd mix with white splashed across his chest, and on the smaller side, like a border collie vs. a full-size shepherd. Someone spent time training him because he has great manners – walks well on a leash, comes when called, and sits when asked. He would do anything to please you. He’s a little older so he’s past the chewing stage and calmer than some of the younger dogs. Maverick is neutered and had his shots. All he needs now is that special someone who will love and care for him for the rest of his life. For more information, call TBAR today at 936-878-2349 |

Just in the nick of time, Kim was spotted and rescued by a TBAR officer and whisked out of danger. This 8 month old, Blue Heeler / Jack Russell mix is a friendly, playful little girl that wants someone to run & play with & no matter what, will love her always. In return, she will shower that someone with wet kisses, unconditional love and a lifetime of companionship. Kim is spayed, vaccinated and ready to go to a loving, forever home. |
