TBAR Pet of the Week: Belle
Belle was found by a good Samaritan who contacted TBAR. When Belle was rescued, she had a badly broken back leg. She received surgery on her leg â thanks to generous supporters â and she has healed up nicely. She is an incredibly sweet dog, full of happiness despite her rough start, and has loads of affection to give. Belle is house and crate trained, spayed, heart worm negative, and up to date on all of her vaccinations.

Pet of the Week: Mia
Mia was found with a collar grown into her neck. Brenham Human Services took her in and had the collar removed, but she needed more time to gain weight and get ready for adoption, so she came to True Blue Animal Rescue. Now she is healed, healthy and full-weight. If you’d like a friendly and happy boxer mix, MIa is perfect for you. She gets along with other animals and loves to go for walks on a leash or run and play.

Foster Homes Needed: Horses
True Blue Animal Rescue has a lot of horses that were taken in because they were being starved or abused and we continue to get calls from law enforcement to take in more. In order to do that we need to adopt out the ones that are healthy and ready to go into new homes. These four are current on shots and coggins, have had their teeth floated and are ready to be adopted. They are all easy to handle and rideable too! They are full weight now but rather than wait for current pictures I needed to post a plea for homes now because we need foster home space so we can take in more horses that need us. Si many horses end up going to auction and into a kill pens. Help Rescues stop the cycle and keep the horses out of kill pens. We save lives, stand up to abusive owners in court, educate the community and fight for better laws. Without adoptions we will not be able to continue in the same capacity that we have before. Please consider adoption as an option when adding an equine to your family. Email [email protected] or call 936-878-2349.
Pet of the Week: Shane
Shane is our pet of the week. This gentle Border Collie boy weighs in at 51 lbs. Playing Frisbee is his favorite past time but he loves to hug too. He is highly trainable and already knows “sit” and “down”. Email [email protected] or call 936-8878-2349 if you’d like to meet Shane
Pets of the Week: Chihuahua/Dachshund Mixes
These two little one year old chihuahua / dachshund mix girls are ready and waiting for their forever home. They are sisters and have been together since they were babies so we’d like to see them be adopted as a pair but they can be separated if that’s not possible. The person who adopted them is moving and can’t take them with them. A bit timid at first but when they warm up they are sweet and loving. They are crate trained and have not had an accident in the house since they came into their TBAR foster home. The adoption fee is $75 or $100 for the pair. They are spayed and current on shots and worming. Contact us at [email protected] or 936-878-2349 to find out how easy it is to adopt!
Pet of the week: Ryder
This week our featured pet is Ryder. This happy fellow was a stray for weeks when a kind person agreed to foster him. He is not current on shots and on heartworm preventative and ready to adopt. Ryder loves to go for car rides and will even sit in the car in anticipation of going for a ride. He loves walking on a leash too and will take the end in his mouth and walk himself if you let him. This chocolate colored boy is large and has lots of lab personality traits. If you’d like to meet and possibly adopt Ryder email [email protected] or call 936-878-2349
