Our pet of the week is Vanilla Latte. She is a very laid back cat that loves attention and will fit in just about anywhere. She even loves the dogs and plays with them a lot
She was born in May of 2012 so she is now almost 4 years old.
She is spayed and microchipped and declawed on the front feet. She is a total indoor cat and sleeps on the bed.
Her adoption fee is only $35 for the month of March. That’s half off the regular adoption fee.

These three pups have all been adopted thanks to a wonderful foster home’s networking. Animals get adopted from networking. Sometimes it’s our petfinder or our website, sometimes is facebook and sometimes the foster home finds them all homes. That was the case with these three lucky pups! Thanks Sarah for all your work making sure these pups are in good and loving homes! They were lucky to have had you on their side.
Two of our dogs were adopted to a wonderful family during our Petsmart adoption day on Sunday, March 13! We are thrilled knowing that they are both in a loving family that will be spoiling them the way they deserve to be spoiled.
Our pet of the week is Remi, a sweet little female terrier mix puppy. She’s curious and ready to learn how to be a good puppy for someone’s family. She’s current on shots and wormer at 10 weeks old. She will come with a voucher for booster shots, rabies shots and spay. All of that for the reduced adoption fee of only $75 in the month of March! Three of our animals were adopted this week. Mugsy went to his new forever home over the weekend. Princess Leia went to one of our shelter partners, Aggieland Humane Society, where she found her forever home and Cinco’s foster Mom decided she could not let him go and decided to adopt! Today our pet of the week is this beautiful 5 month old catahoula / lab mix puppy named Judge. If you’re looking for a young dog to adopt please consider Judge. Austin County Deputy Nathan Hale saw these horses starving and immediately pulled them and brought them to safety. They went to court and had them awarded to rescue to guarantee their safety. They are now in foster homes, gaining weight and getting vet and farrier care. We cannot thank Austin County enough for caring about animals and working toward putting an end to abuse and neglect in their county.
Today’s pet of the week is Roman. This lab / great dane mix is a big boy at 82 pounds but he’s well behaved and learns very quickly. He walks pretty well on lead. He has learned to sit, working on stay, shake paws, crawl and is easy to feed. He is a fun/goofy boy that doesn’t play well with other dogs.
