Kingston, now named Joey, is adopted! This sweet dog was at the shelter and on his last days before euthanasia when Kelly offered to foster him and save his life. Lucky for this sweet fellow Kelly and her family fell in love with him and decided to adopt. We call this a foster failure and we LOVE foster failures because that’s one more pet that gets a home of their own for life!! Thank you Kelly for joining our long list of foster failures. We hope this list keeps growing. If you’d like to adopt a dog, cat or horse, please visit our web site
Here is the Gray Gelding we recently took in getting his hooves trimmed. He came to us about a month ago emaciated and with cracked hooves. He’s now getting plenty of grass and feed and gaining weight every day. Thank you
This week we have seven puppies for pets of the week! These cute babies are 8-10 weeks old, are dewormed and had their first vaccination. They will come with a voucher for spay / neuter, rabies and the booster shot. All that for a reduced adoption fee of only $75 during the month of February. Send an email to help@t-bar.org or call 936-878-2349 if you’d like to adopt a puppy!

Sir Henry was adopted this week! We’re so happy that one of our wonderful kitties found a forever home. If you’re thinking about adopting a cat or a kitten take a look at the ones on our web site
This week the pet of the week is Roman, a Labrador Retriever / Great Dane mix. He is an adult neutered male, and weighs in at 82 pounds. His new family will find him to be a fun and goofy pup who is easy to feed, walks well on a lead and has learned to sit. He’s still working on his other manners, such as stay, shake paws, and crawl. He’s also getting used to crating!
Nothing makes us happier than to hear from people who have adopted in the past and send us pictures of their rescue kids with their forever family. Here’s one of those pictures that touches my heart in a special way. Pablo Redcloud aka True Seven, Picasso and Tejas came to TBAR as a baby. He went to several foster homes and was even adopted but he had some bad habits that were tough to break and he managed to out smart his people every single time. The last time he came back
Our success story for today is another cat. Willow’s foster Mom decided it was a good fit and made it official. Willow gets to stay with them forever!! If you’d like to adopt a cat, horse or dog, go to
